In honour of School Support Staff Recognition Week (Sep. 27-Oct. 1, 2021), as proclaimed by the Minister of Education, a sincere "thank you" is extended to all support staff in MVSD for the valuable work they do in our schools and in supporting the education of our students!
The National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation is hosting a variety of free online events from Sep. 27 to Oct. 1 to support our collective efforts toward understanding truth and reconciliation. The RFHSCMP is a program that matches interested Grade 12 and Undergraduate University students to mentors who study within one of the Health Colleges in the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at University of Manitoba. On Sep. 3, 2021, the Manitoba government announced it is recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as a day of observance to encourage reflection and meaningful discussions about the impacts of residential schools. Schools and division facilities will be closed on September 30th. Please click on the link for the updated calendar.
